Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank President Anthony Santomero Thursday morning concurred with his Fed colleagues and recent rate actions indicating the U.S. economy is in the midst of a slowdown, but said he expects growth to accelerate again in the latter half of the year. Addressing members of the local chamber of commerce andpresenting a regional economic outlook, Santomero made severalreferences to an overall U.S. slowdown.
