WIESBADEN, Germany (AFX) - German wholesale sales rose a real 4.6 pct in Novemeber from a year earlier, the Federal Statistics Office said.
For the 11 months to November, wholesale sales were up 4.4 pct in real terms from the same period last year, it said.
It said that the real seasonally adjusted wholesale index rose to 110.5 in November from 110.6 in October (1991 equals 100).
The office said on a month-on-month basis, the largest increases were in prices for consumer goods which rose a real 16.4 pct, prices for machinery, equipment and accessories, which grew a real 15.1 pct and prices for agricultural materials and live animals, which gained a real 0.5 pct.
