Tokyo--Jan. 23--Bank of Japan Governor Hayami said Tuesday that the nation's central bank will not introduce the zero interest rate policy again. Asked about possible steps to improve liquidity provision, which Hayami has requested BOJ staff to consider, Hayami said additional monetary easing, quantitative monetary easing and steps to support stock prices are not among the possibilities.
